With the improvement of quality of life, wooden flooring is becoming more and more popular in our homes. How to make the floor at home as new every day and able to be used for a long time depends on regular floor care. So far, the evolution history of floor care products has mainly gone through three generations: the first generation of floor wax era, the second generation of wood floor essential oil era, and the third generation of floor coating oil era. So, what is the difference between floor wax, floor essential oil, and floor coating oil? Is it better to choose floor essential oil, floor wax, or floor coating oil?

What are floor wax, floor essential oil, and floor coating oil?

Floor wax mainly consists of paraffin, silicone oil, chemical compounds, beeswax, etc., which can increase the brightness of the floor. However, it has the disadvantages of poor wear resistance, short service life, slipping, and easy adhesion to dust. Frequent waxing can affect the aesthetics and service life of wooden floors, resulting in whitening, discoloration, and other phenomena.

The floor essential oil is extracted from pure plants and can be fully absorbed by the floor wood, playing a moisture-proof, clean, and shiny role. But the essential oil on the floor is water-based, and if not handled properly, there is a high possibility of atomization, floor water absorption deformation, and size bumps. The technical content of floor essential oil is relatively low, and if poor floor essential oil is used, the floor is prone to noise.

Floor coating oil is a nanoscale liquid silicon dioxide, which basically compensates for all the shortcomings of floor wax and essential oils. At the same time, it has special effects such as antibacterial, water repellent, and easy to care for.

For the maintenance of wooden flooring, some people recommend essential oils, while others recommend floor wax. Firstly, for floor essential oil, there are basically more than 10 painting processes on the surface of wooden floors. If floor essential oil can moisturize the wood through such thick paint, it is actually unrealistic.

For newly laid floors, floor wax may have added an extra layer of protection to the surface, but it won't last long. For floors that are in normal use, it doesn't make much difference whether there is an extra layer of wax or not.

Why is floor coating oil more suitable for wooden floor maintenance?

Floor coating oil is a new type of nano anti fouling product that achieves nano black technology products such as water repellency, anti fouling, and antibacterial properties by applying an extremely thin nano coating on the surface of the floor. The floor coating oil is solidified into a film. The molecular structure of the protective film is very small, equivalent to one fifth of the width of human hair, and smaller than water molecules, or even hundreds of bacterial monomers. After use, the water molecules, bacteria, and stains on the material cannot adhere to and penetrate, effectively extending the floor maintenance cycle.

How to use floor coating oil correctly to maintain the floor?

1. Clean the dust and dirt on the floor surface and keep it dry;

2. Prepare a floor mop and clean towels or paper. First, place the towel or paper on the mop, and then evenly apply the floor coating oil in a "Z" shape on the towel or paper towel, and apply it to the floor;

3. After applying, replace the surface oil with a new towel or paper to complete the construction.
